Hotel operator Rotana plans to open eight new properties in the Middle East by the end of the year, including the debut of the new Centro Hotels by Rotana brand in Abu Dhabi and two new destinations in Dubai. The long-awaited Centro Hotels by Rotana brand will launch its first property on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi in October, with a debut in Dubai shortly after.
The Centro brand targets business travelers, with three-star amenities featuring Wi-Fi, full-service C.Taste restaurant, C.Mondo bar, deli-style shop and fitness facilities. The 259-room Yas Island Center in Abu Dhabi is adjacent to the new Rotana-branded hotel. The 308-room, four-star luxury Yas Island Rotana will also open in October for the inaugural Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina circuit. Guests can watch the race from the hotel balconies.
