Launched services for the corporate sector in 2003; In 2004, it introduced a web-based money transfer process. Between 2005 and 2009, it opened offices in Hong Kong, Uganda, Jordan, Canada, New Zealand and China and acquired Moneyart Global Services in the United States. It also launched an online money transfer portal called Money2anywhere.com. XP; Bill payment application with mobile phone was also brought in India.
In March 2019, UAE Exchange President Y Sudheer Kumar Shetty left the UAE. He was a key figure in finance and global remittances. He was president of the UAE Exchange. Prior to that, he served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Global Operations for UAE Exchange Center LLC.
He has led the UAE Exchange’s global operations since 1991. Farewell to Bears Welfare Forum, Abu Dhabi and Y Sudheer Kumar Shetty, in partnership with Indian Islamic Center, Abu Dhabi and other community organizations.
