In the 1980s, the company faced financial difficulties and was sold to a group of investors. The new owners restructured the company and released a new model, the Diablo, in 1990. The Diablo was powered by 5.7 liter V12 engine and was capable of reaching speeds of up to 210 mph. The car was well received and helped Lamborghini regain its reputation as a producer of high-performance sports cars.
In the following years, Lamborghini continued to release new models, including the Murcielago, the Gallardo, and the Aventador. The cars were known for their powerful engines, advanced technology, and their breathtaking and striking design. The Murcielago was notable for its 6.2-liter V12 engine, which produced over 600 horsepower. The Gallardo was Lamborghini’s best-selling model, with over 14,000 units sold during its ten-year production run. The Aventador was the company’s flagship model and featured a 6.5-liter V12 engine that produced over 700 horsepower.
