Etihad Aviation Group is a broadened worldwide flight and travel amass including seven business divisions – Operations, Commercial, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), Human Resources, Finance, Support Services and Transformation.
At the Farnborough Airshow in 2008, the airline announced the largest flight order in commercial aviation history, with up to 205 flights – 100 firm orders, 55 options and 50 purchase rights.
In line with the strategic plan announced in 2006 by CEO James Hogan, Etihad reported its first full-year net profit of $ 14 million in 2011.
The management structure was restructured in May 2016 as the CEO of Etihad Aviation Group, the parent company of James Hogan Airlines. Peter Baumgartner, formerly the airline’s chief commercial officer, announced the appointment of Hogan as the airline’s chief executive officer.
